This Zanafi rug is made with the Glawa tribe techniques that combine flat weaving, knotting and embroidery witch give it an interesting texture.
The colors involved in this particular rug give it a very unique and earthy feel. Designed completely with the weavers imagination and without any plan. Isn't it a piece of art!

Dimensions: 264 cm x 160 cm + Fringe (Sizes are approximate because handmade carpets can vary in sizes from centre to extremities)
Colors: Grey color with red and blue knotting.
Material: 100% sheep wool, hand spun for the highest quality and hand woven on cotton warp.
Fringe: One side. This is typical for Berber rugs as the tradition is to close one side and leave the other side open for the weaver's daughters to continue the story after her.
Pile: Flat weave
Condition: New and in very good condition. This product was made in a traditional way and might have small imperfections.
Origin: Ait Kola, Taznakht, Morocco.
